With a heavy heart I have put this bike on sale and have been discussing with potential buyers who would like to own this bike
BHPian AtheK recently shared this with other enthusiasts:
With last few rides on the BMW, Honda was feeling neglected, so I decided to take it out for breakfast date. Bike is performing very well but there was one peculiar issue that happened. I stopped at a fuel pump to refill and when I tried to start the bike, it did not start. It was cranking but not starting and battery voltage was also fine. I was enroute to meet my riding buddies so I called them and asked them to come to the pump so they can help me push start.
After about 10 minutes of waiting, I decided to check once again and the bike started with just some input of the throttle. Called my friends and told them to meet me directly at the meeting point. Once we reached there, we headed to our destination and when we stopped, I tried to start it but it did not start again. We decided to go have breakfast and once we came back and tried to start the bike, it started normally again. On the way back home on a speed breaker it stopped again and refused to start. We did a push start and bike immediately came back to life with a very minor push. Rode back home and once I parked it at home, tried to start it and same issue. I came back after 15 minutes and tried to start it and it started again.
Read about it on the internet and found some owners having same issue Link.Seems like the issue is with starter motor as per all the reading I have done, will need to get it checked. If anyone has any other inputs, I can try please do let me know. This bike will make me a full-fledged mechanic, amount of learning I have got from getting this bike to this shape has been a revelation.
Some photos from the day!
Love how the bike still holds her own in company of modern bikes.

With a heavy heart I have put this bike on sale and have been discussing with potential buyers who would like to own this bike, while I have got few offers, I am still waiting for the right buyer. This bike might need some more attention in future and if someone is looking for a bike that just works out of the box all the time, this might not be the one. Even though it is a Honda.
Today might have been my last long ride on this bike as I am planning to send it to Motospark for fixing this issue as he also said that looks like a starter motor issue. I have asked him to sell the bike after that as he has few leads.
I will though definitely ride it to his place one last time.
