Vijayawada: The YSRCP has called for the formation of a committee to investigate the recurring deaths of cows at the Tirupati Gosala and affirmed its commitment to raising public issues as a responsible opposition.
Speaking to the media on Friday, former MLA Kasu Reddy said over the past nine months, at least 10 cows have been dying per month. He described this as a serious issue and slammed the govt for avoiding open debate by using police forces to restrict opposition leaders’ movements. Former TTD chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy also raised the matter, saying that it is govt’s duty to fact-check, address, or clarify the situation. TNN
