Sandalwood star Yash, who recently wrapped up a crucial schedule for his highly anticipated gangster drama, Toxic, is all set to join Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi’s magnum opus, Ramayana. Yash will be taking part in Ramayana’s shoot this week in Mumbai.
Ahead of his first schedule for Ramayana, Yash, who plays the demon king Ravana in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial, visited the sacred Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. Yash will be filming his solo sequences in the schedule. Apparently, Ramayana makers have planned a special welcome for the KGF star.
Apart from playing the antagonist’s role, Yash is also co-producing Ramayana under his Monster Mind Creations in association with Namit Malhotra’s DNEG. Oscar-winning musical legends AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer are working on the film’s soundtrack. Ramayana is being made as a two-part franchise. While the first part is slated to release on Diwali 2026, the second installment will be released during Diwali 2027.
