The inhumane terrorism attack that happened at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has claimed 27 lives and it is going down as one of the worst ever terrorism incidents against the Indian civilian population.
As we had reported earlier, a Vizag native was shot dead in the incident. Now, the latest developments are suggesting that another AP native has been killed.
Madhusudan Somisetty, a native of Kavali in Nellore district and currently settled in Bengaluru, was among those killed in the terrorist attack at Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Madhusudan was on a family trip to Kashmir when terrorists opened fire. He was hit in the attack and died on the spot. Originally from Nellore, Madhusudan had relocated with his family to Bengaluru. His death has shocked relatives and friends across both cities.
On a related note, the latest developments are suggesting that as many as 80 Telugu people are stuck in a private hotel in Srinagar. These people had gone to Jammu and Kashmir on vacation and they got stuck at the Srinagar hotel after the fatal Pahalgam terrorism attack. They are now concerned about their safe return.
AP CM Chandrababu briefed the authorities on this matter and a special help group has been dedicated for the job. A dedicated desk has been established at the Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in Delhi for correspondence.
However, with the government of India fully activated on this matter, we can expect safe transit of all tourists from Jammu and Kashmir.
