Andhra Pradesh is going to witness one of its lost culturally and economically significant developments tomorrow in the form of the relaunch of the Amaravati capital project. This mega event is being projected as Amaravati 2.0 and this signifies the reconstruction of this project that was ruined by the previous YCP government.
Amaravati 2.0 project is going to be launched in the presence of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and local stalwarts, including CM Chandrababu and deputy CM, Pawan Kalyan, along with other Cabinet ministers.
The latest news is that none other than the former CM and current Pulivendula MLA YS Jagan has received the invitation for the Amravati 2.0 Project.
According to reports, the invitation card was handed over to Jagan by the assistant protocol officer, yesterday at the latter’s residence in Tadepalli.
It can be noted that Jagan was earlier invited for the first launch program back in 2015 itself, but he did not show any interest in attending the same. And then came the 2019 election post, which Jagan dismantled the Amaravati project and ruined its prospects. With so much history against the capital project, the expectation is that Jagan will obviously avoid partaking in the 2.0 event.
However, Chandrababu looks more determined and confident this time as he is on the verge of getting cabinet approval for the Amaravati project which would safeguard it in the future. Or importantly, the Andhra Pradesh government is committed to completing this mega project in the span of next three years.
