Trio held while transporting 30 kg ganja from Odisha to Hyderabad

Three persons were arrested while transporting ganja from Malkangiri district of Odisha to Hyderabad at the Bhadrachalam check post on Friday (May 9). The Bhadrachalam excise police seized 29.5 kg ganja worth ₹14.5 lakh. The accused were identified as Sai Krishna and Pawan Reddy, both natives of Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, and Srihari, a resident of Hyderabad. The trio was transporting the contraband in a car. On suspicion, the officials searched its interior. A case was registered and an investigation is under way.
