The 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) matches will reportedly resume by May 16 after the tournament was suspended for a week due to the growing tensions between India and Pakistan.
Following the announcement of an immediate ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the IPL Governing body and the BCCI are planning to conduct the remaining 16 matches soon.
According to reports, the tournament would likely resume on May 16 or 17 with a match between LSG – RCB at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Additionally, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had reportedly communicated to franchises asking them to assemble players by Tuesday.
To cover-up the lost time, authorities are planning two matches a day and are planning to host the finals on May 30.
