Police conduct ‘flash’ checks across Kurnool


In view of the volatile sitution between India and Pakistan, the police conducted extensive security checks across key public locations in Kurnool district on Sunday. The operations were conducted at railway stations, bus stands, and border check-posts.

Superintendent of Police Aadi Raj Singh Rana supervised the operation, which was carried out with the assistance of bomb squads, dog squads, and crime branch teams. Deputy SP Babu Prasad led the checks at Kurnool railway station and the RTC bus station.

The deputy SP told the media that the primary objective of the surprise checks was the interest of public safety in view of the emerging situation. He urged the public to immediately report movement of suspicious persons or the presence of unclaimed objects in their vicinity to the police.
