KTR blames chief minister for farmer’s death

Hyderabad: Strongly reacting to the death of farmer Guguloth Kishan at a paddy procurement centre in due to heatwave conditions, BRS working president KT Rama Rao has called it a “state murder” and indirectly blamed chief minister A Revanth Reddy for his death. The 51-year-old farmer from Pochammapally village died while waiting for paddy procurement.KTR alleged that while the CM was busy with beauty pageants, farmers were facing difficulties at the procurement centres. He claimed that the Congress govt, which failed to provide Rythu Bharosa and loan waiver, has now failed to procure paddy from the farmers, who were facing problems due to unseasonal rains in the state.KTR demanded compensation for Kishan’s family and also called for clearing of pending paddy stocks at the centres.
