
Tollywood has well and truly embraced the re release culture. We are witnessing classic blockbusters getting re released in theaters almost on a weekly basis.
But the major majority of these films are arriving with very little impetus or genuine public interest. Any of these films are turning out to be come and go ventures with little to no public involvement.

But there is this one film that is preparing for re release this month and it is quite possibly the most worthy re release since the start of this trend.
The film and discussion here is that of Khaleja. This Mahesh Babu and Trivikram film is still regarded as one of the finest social dramas to be made in Telugu cinema.

But the issue was that the film was seriously misunderstood and miscarried by the Telugu folk. It turned out to be a pretty bad theatrical film at that point in time.
However, this film, aged like fine wine and it is now enjoyed by the larger audience. Write from the performance of Mahesh Babu to the impeccable rating of Trivikram, this is one of those rare films that got the right impetus but still failed.

But as the Khaleja cult grew bigger with time, it is a matter of time before this film gets some serious recognition from the Telugu folk. This is surely going to be one of the most pleasurable viewing experiences for Mahesh’s fans.
Even for the general audience, witnessing this refined cinema on screen all over again must be a good recall value addition.
