Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy has entrusted the group of ministers (GoM), headed by deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, with the task of identifying key ongoing and proposed projects across various sectors.The GoM includes ministers N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, D Sridhar Babu, and Seethakka.According to sources, the committee has been directed to prepare a comprehensive list of pending, ongoing, and newly-proposed projects. The GoM’s primary responsibility is to prioritise projects based on their progress and financial feasibility, enabling the finance department to release necessary funds accordingly.“Ongoing projects with over 50% work completed and requiring minimal additional budget will be given top priority,” a senior official said.The formation of the GoM aims to streamline project planning and execution, while also ensuring that contractors are not burdened with delays or forced to chase departments for pending dues. Only those projects that are viable for immediate budget allocation and completion will be taken up first.The committee has been asked to submit its report within 30 days.
