Hyderabad Weather Update: Partly Cloudy Days with Scattered Rain as Temperatures Set to Rise (canva)
Mild Start, But Rising Heat Ahead
On 6 June, Hyderabad recorded a maximum temperature of 36.5 degrees Celsius, just 0.6 degrees Celsius below normal for this time of year and a minimum of 25.4 degrees Celsius, slightly above the seasonal average. While the weather felt bearable, especially during the early hours with humidity touching 67%, the dry spell and sunny breaks are expected to heat things up.
According to the seven-day forecast, both daytime and nighttime temperatures are expected to stay steady, with the mercury climbing as high as 37 degrees Celsius by midweek. Humidity may vary, but the rising heat will certainly be felt by residents as the city gradually edges towards peak summer conditions.
Scattered Showers, Thunderstorms in Forecast
The weather may remain unpredictable, though. From 6 to 8 June, Hyderabad is expected to witness partly cloudy skies with the possibility of rain, thunderstorms, or even dust storms. Moderate showers are likely to develop on 8 and 10 June, followed by generally cloudy skies with intermittent rain on 9 June. Rain or thunderstorms may continue to persist through 11 and 12 June as well.
These conditions could provide short-lived relief from the daytime heat, but will also bring fluctuating humidity levels and possible disruptions to outdoor plans.
Plan Ahead, Stay Weather-Wise
With temperatures climbing and sudden showers likely, Hyderabadis are advised to plan their days accordingly, carry an umbrella, wear light clothing, and stay hydrated. While the rain might offer a welcome break from the heat, the weather is expected to remain mostly warm and humid over the coming week.
