Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 is showing good signs of emerging as a big hit of this year. The film is expected to record some amazing numbers on the second day after starting its theatrical run at Rs. 22 crores on the day of release.
A few reports have claimed that the collections have jumped by somewhere between 35-40 percent. This means that the film might record a box office collection of around Rs. 29 crores or Rs. 31 crores, summing up to a total collection of Rs. 52 crores in two days.

Considering that June 8 is Sunday, people might book tickets in large numbers, leading to a weekend collection of almost Rs. 85 crores. The second day collections have witnessed a jump, specifically because of Bakri Eid in various places.
Furthermore, the film is additionally attracting audiences in places such as Mumbai and Delhi. Apart from the national chains, the film is also creating records in non-national chains such as MovieMax, Miraj, and more.

The above-mentioned numbers are just predictions for now. The second day numbers are yet to be made official, considering that the day has not ended yet.
In case the film attracts audiences in the same condition from Monday, the film might touch the mark of Rs. 150 crores by the end of the week. But this is not enough as Housefull 5 has to recover the heavy budget of Rs. 225 crores.
