A 2017 batch IAS officer Mikkilineni Manu Choudary took charge as collector of Medchal-Malkajgiri district on Friday (June 12, 2025). He was among the several bureaucrats who were transferred and given new postings as part of a major reshuffling of officers.

A native of Dendukuru, Madhira mandal of Khammam, he bagged 36th rank in Civil Services examination (2017) in the first attempt. Mr. Manu Choudary earlier served as additional collector of Nagarkurnool and Kamareddy. Prior to the recent transfer, he was collector of Siddipet district from February 22 last year. He took charge as Medchal collector from Gowtham Potru.
A 2016-batch IAS officer P. Pravinya assumed charge as collector of Sangareddy on Friday (June 13, 2025).

Meanwhile, a 2016-batch IAS officer P. Pravinya assumed charge as collector of Sangareddy. She served as collector of Hanumakonda from June 16, 2024 before she was given the new posting. Ms. Pravinya also worked as commissioner of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation, additional commissioner of GHMC.
