After helming a series of love stories, director Sekhar Kammula takes a bold new turn with “Kuberaa” featuring Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. It is a gritty political-societal drama that dives deep into the intersections of money, power, and justice.
The trailer opens with a hard-hitting line from Nagarjuna’s character: “History shows that only money and power work in this country, not justice and honesty.” Nagarjuna plays a power broker who shelters Deva, a beggar with an unknown past.
