The CPI (Maoist) Telangana committee has called for a bandh in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on June 20 in protest against the Centre’s Operation Kagar.
In a statement purportedly made by the official spokesman of CPI (Maoist) Jagan said that the bandh has been called to condemn the brutal killing of Maoist leaders, including Chalam alias Sudhakar and Mailarapu Adellu alias Bhaskar and seven others, in Chhattisgarh as part of ‘massive repression’ ‘unleashed by the Centre’ in the name of Operation Kagar.
