The biggest upgrade to the special edition is the inclusion of Mercedes’ Rear Seat Comfort Package as standard. The package adds a massage and multi-zone backrest heating function to the rear seats, which themselves now recline to 38 degrees, as against 30 degrees on the standard sedan. Furthermore, the Chauffeur Package is also now standard, letting owners push the co-driver seat out of the way for more room to stretch. The embedded Navigation system also gets an upgrade and now features an Augmented Reality display function on the infotainment display.

Mercedes says that the upholstery, too, has been upgraded over the standard model, with the Celebration Edition getting Nappa Leather seats.
