AEE B Swaroopa demanded the bribe ‘for writing MB books for the work done by a contractor’m say ACB officials

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths on Tuesday caught Assistant Electrical Engineer (AEE) of Kapra Circle, GHMC, for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 1.20 lakh from a contractor for doing official work.
According to ACB officials, the official, B Swaroopa, had demanded the bribe ‘for writing MB books for the work done by the contractor’.
On a complaint, the ACB laid a trap and caught the AEE red handed. The official was arrested and is being produced before the court.
