I rented a bicycle in Berlin, which carried me, my backpack, and a traveller’s curiosity through the city’s lesser-known corners.

Early morning workout rides on my old vintage road bike, those quiet moments before the traffic and pollution take over. It’s when the true beauty of our city reveals itself, only to vanish later in the daily chaos.
Exploring Berlin on a humble rental bike, nothing fancy, but it did the job. Carried me, my backpack, and a traveler’s curiosity through the city’s lesser-known corners.
During my Berlin trip, I had to stop by the iconic Steel Vintage Bikes Café a haven of old world charm. Explored some stunning vintage bikes, grabbed a few parts and topped it off with great food and beer.
Lately, my fitness mantra has been riding a fixed gear. Took a bit to get used to pushing a 52/18 ratio but now it feels incredible, pure, raw, and seriously addictive.
