The Telangana Squash Open kicks off today in Hyderabad with over 350 players from across India competing across age and open categories at two venues, promising top-level action for five days

Hyderabad: The city is all set to host one of the most anticipated squash events of the year — the Telangana Squash Open Tournament, scheduled from June 25 to 29.
Organised by the Hyderabad Squash Premier League (HSPL), the tournament will unfold across two prestigious venues: Secunderabad Club and Hyderabad Golf Club.
With over 350 participants from across India, the event promises a thrilling showcase of talent and sportsmanship. The competition spans a wide range of categories, including boys and girls in the age groups of under-11, 13, 15, 17, and 19 years, besides men and women.
There will be a special event for the masters as well.
This diverse lineup ensures that the tournament will feature both rising stars and experienced players, making it a true celebration of squash at all levels.
Speaking about the event, HSPL representatives expressed excitement over the growing popularity of squash in Telangana and the opportunity to bring together athletes from across the country.
