Mahindra Xev 9e: 237 km Jaipur – Delhi Run

I left with 83% of SOC from Gurgaon, and even if I had not charged in Jaipur, I may have returned on fumes at about 0%

BHPian purohitanuj recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Short update on insane efficiency achieved by XEV – Jaipur to Delhi, 237KM in just 37% SOC

Will try to keep it as short as possible.

I charged in Jaipur at JEM Mall Statiq to 86% SOC and left for Gurugram. Reached with 49% SOC covering a distance of 237KMs via NH8 in 4 hours 26 minutes, cruising at 90-100km/hr.
The outside temperature was 27c to 30 °C and the Aircon was set at 24.5c °C

That is 237KM of high-speed highway drive in just 37-38% translating into 620 to 640 km in 1 charge!

It was raining heavily, and the highway was fully waterlogged at many places. People who drive from Jaipur to Delhi/Gurgaon via NH8 would know how difficult it is to reach in 4.5 hours while in normal conditions, and in my case, it was much worse as it was raining, and the jams were amplified.

Stats of charging from the Statiq App

Stats of charging from the Me4U app

Stats of the drive at the end.

The DCFC cost for the return journey came out to be INR 228, as I still had 49% of SOC left.

I left with 83% of SOC from Gurgaon, and even if I had not charged in Jaipur, I may have returned on fumes at about 0%.

Who would have thought to do Gurgaon – Jaipur – Gurgaon in ~80% SOC!
