HYDERABAD: Telangana DGP Dr Jitender told the station house officers (SHOs) that the state can retain its national leadership in policing standards only through committed, people-centric work at the police station level. Speaking at a meeting, he described SHOs as ‘the foundation of the police system’ and said their honesty and sensitivity would decide public trust.
