It seems like JSW MG Motor India will soon announce the price of its upcoming Cyberster electric sports car, as the model has started arriving at MG Select dealerships. It’s likely to go on sale alongside the MG M9which is slated to hit the roads in July 2025. The MG Cyberster will be the most affordable sports car in India, estimated to be priced around Rs 50 lakh – Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be brought in via the CBU (completely built-up unit) route in limited numbers.

First thing first, the powertrain. The MG Cyberster features a 77kWh battery pack with two oil-cooled electric motors, placed on each axle. Its combined power and torque outputs stand at 510hbp and 725Nm, respectively. This two-door convertible electric sports car delivers a claimed range of 580km on CLTC cycle on a full charge. It accelerates 0 to 100kmph in just 3.2 seconds and offers a top speed of over 210kmph. The EV comes with four driving modes – Eco, Normal, Sport, and Track (AWD only).
In global markets, the Cyberster is also offered with the same 77kWh battery, paired with a single motor mounted on the rear axle. This configuration returns a claimed power of 308bhp and 475Nm of torque. It does 0 to 100kmph in 5.0 seconds, and attains a top speed of over 200kmph. This electric sports car takes 7 hours to charge fully via an AC charger and 35 minutes from 10 to 80 percent via a DC fast charger.
