Heavy to very heavy rainfall in Hyderabad and districts for the next two days


The IMD Hyderabad has issued orange and yellow alerts predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall across Hyderabad and multiple Telangana districts over the next three to four days. Light to moderate showers are expected to continue statewide till July 26

Heavy to very heavy rainfall in Hyderabad and districts for the next two days


Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next three days.

A forecast \on Sunday morning said \Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana will continue to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next three to four days.


An orange alert of heavy to very heavy rainfall of 115.6 mm to 204.4 mm of rainfall and a yellow alert indicating heavy rainfall of 64.5 mm to 115.6 mm of rainfall from Monday to Thursday, was issued.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers were also forecast for most parts of Telangana till July 26.

\The districts where heavy to very heavy rainfall warning has been issued include Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Siddipet, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Nagarkurnool districts, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Jangaon, Yadadri Bhongir, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri and Vikarabad districts of Telangana.
