This is the first electric convertible sports car for India – the MG Cyberster. JSW MG Motor India has launched the model at an introductory price of Rs 74.99 lakh for the new bookings. Buyers who had already pre-booked the Cyberster will get it at a slightly lower price of Rs 72.49 Lakh. It’s important to note that the mentioned prices include a 3.3kW portable charger, a 7.4kW wallbox and installation costs.
After the MG M9 luxury electric MPVthe Cyberster becomes the brand’s second offering to be sold through the MG Select premium showrooms in India. Deliveries of the Cyberster will start on 10th August, 2025.

The new MG Cyberster features a 77kWh battery pack, paired with dual electric motors placed on each axle. Its combined power and torque are 510bhp and 725Nm, respectively. MG’s new electric convertible sports car is claimed to accelerate 0 to 100kmph in just 3.2 seconds. MG claims that it offers a MIDC-rated range of 580km on a single charge.
The new MG electric sports car can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 40 minutes using a DC superfast charger. It takes 12.5 hours for a full 0 to 100 percent charge via an AC fast charger. The company also provides a portable charger with the convertible. MG’s eHUB app enables users to locate, plug and pay for charging sessions across the country.
