Amazon Prime Video’s newly launched series “Rangeen” is now a hot topic of discussion, by raising socially awkward questions and situations this show took a very bold step towards changing the narrative.
Featuring Vineet Kumar Singh, Taaruk Raina, Rajshri Deshpande and Sheeba Chadha in the main roles this show tried delving deep into a very sensitive aspect.

But the question is did it deliver what it promised?
With the recent breakthrough from “Chhaava” Vineet Kumar Singh is now accepted as a very well performed actor, but in this industry “with great breakthroughs comes great expectations”.

This story dives into the life of a journalist who wants to make it big on the platform and stays so caught up in the business that his love life with his wife fades away.
However, while discovering the truth about his wife he faces a heartbreaking fact that his wife is spending more time with a gigolo, seeking for revenge he delves into this profession and goes under a self discovery.

This series touches on a very sensitive topic but according to the audience which started as a bold take on the society falls short when it comes to the execution.
Vineet Kumar Singh tried very hard as an actor, but somehow in between the lines the main essence of the show faded away, which was supposed to be a sharp climax that came to the audience as a simple answer.
Which was a very disappointing factor for many audiences.
Alongside the other cast Taaruk Raina comes out of their comfort zone to perform, but as the script went on the audience felt much distant from the actual storyline.
“Rangeen” is definitely a good watch but it is questionable if it’s a must watch or not.
