The Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited (EPDCL) announced a scheduled power outage on July 30 in certain areas under the Venkanna Tank substation of Eluru Town 1 division.
According to a press release issued by Executive Engineer K.M. Ambedkar of the Eluru operation circle, the power supply will be interrupted from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. to facilitate the construction of new 11-kV feeder lines on Chataparru road.
The outage will affect several areas under the Venkanna Tank substation, including Premalayam road, Pedamalapalli, East Street (Toorpu Veedhi), Ganganamma temple area, Phil Housepeta, Chataparru road, Saibaba temple area, and Shivaalayam surroundings. Consumers in the affected areas are requested to cooperate with the Electricity Department during the maintenance period.
