Murugadoss has been appearing on screen in his films in small cameos. He never appeared in a movie promo or special video promo. In fact, until Nelson and Sivakarthikeyan made it into a trend with Doctor, not many directors wanted to release such special promos prior to song release.
Now, even Murugadoss pulled off a Nelson for Madharaasi first single promo. He appeared in a half self-troll type of a fun video along with composer Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander, lyricist Super Subbu alongside Sivakarthikeyan. Looking at the video, many are commenting, “Vera Maari” in Nelson style aiming at Murugadoss.
In a special interaction, Murugadoss even stated that he is handicapped when it comes to making Hindi films as he does not understand the language. So, he could not really be on top of it all, when he is directing Salman Khan or any Hindi film, till date. So, he attributed Sikander failure to lack of Hindi language expertise.
Well, he promised to make a big comeback with Madharaasi and give Sivakarthikeyan another big blockbuster. He even danced at a birthday function of the actor’s son. Looks like Murugadoss has become a close friend of Sivakarthikeyan and he is his new Nelson – a thick friend of the actor.
Also, Anirudh Ravichander has ended speculations about Sai Abhyankkar being his big competition by making him sing this first single. The movie is scheduled to release on 5th September, in multiple languages. Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon are playing prominent leading roles in it.
