Citroen recently announced its new strategic plan, dubbed “Citroen 2.0 – Shift Into the New”, as part of which multiple product upgrades have been lined up. The carmaker will roll out updated versions of the C3, Aircross, and Basalt under the Citroen 2.0 plan. We recently got a glimpse of the planned updates when thenew Aircrosswas spied testing. Citroen has now dropped a teaser of the latest iteration of the Basalt, called the C3X. The teaser, featuring brand ambassador MS Dhoni, reveals a few design details of the upcoming C3X. The coupe SUV gets a split headlamp design with projectors and LED DRLs with the brand’s dual-chevron logo in the centre and a C3X badge at the rear. The C3X is expected to retain the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 81 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol that puts out 108 BHP and 190 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, and 6-speed automatic.
