During the Summer of 2025, we planned our second drive, and this time we decided to go to Tamil Nadu and Kerala

Three States Trip – May 2025
Mysore in Karnataka, Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu, and Guruvayur
Our destination was Guruvayur, the temple town in Kerala. I chose the Mysore road route as we could enjoy the drive through the scenic route of Bandipur National Park and Mudumalai Tiger Reserve to reach Guruvayur. The monsoon came in early this year in the third week of May, and we started our trip just then. We loved the drive as almost all through the trip it was raining very heavily. All went well with the 1100 kms trip and Hexyy performed extremely well!! Here are some pics.
First stop at the Payana Museum, near Mysore
Selfie of the family members at the start of the trip!
Onset of Monsoon on May 22, 2025. Beautiful road of Bandipur forest.
Hot strong coffee would have been more apt, but I had to drink this homemade mango milkshake!
Quick stop post Bandipur forest and before the start of Madumalai Forest.
Beautiful roads of Guruvayur, KL. On the way to Chavakkad Beach.
At the beach amidst heavy rains.
We stopped by a beautiful temple near the beach and saw a legendary Tata Sumo!
The next day, we drove to the Marine World, India’s Largest Public Aquarium in Kerala. Daughter and wifey are enjoying the KL vibes
Family! In-laws loved the Hexyy and felt very comfortable throughout the drive.
At the Marine World, Premier Padmini converted to an Aquarium!
Yet another quick stop to taste some KL local specialties
Lost with the options!
Near miss!
On our way back, just before the Madumalai forest, in the Ghats we just missed a catastrophe. Secs before we reached this spot, a bunch of bamboo tress got uprooted and blocked our way. In few mins lot of vehicles piled up and some locals helped clear part of it to make way for vehicles to pass.
At the end of the trip, got the Hexyy a clean wash!

Elegant and Beautiful Hexyy! Whatta great car from Tata!
