Don’t drag my name into your family crisis, BRS an expired currency note: Revanth to Kavitha | Hyderabad News

Speaking at a public event in Mahabubnagar, Reddy said, “BRS is an expired currency note… They were clashing with each other in the distribution of their share of amassed wealth through illegal means.”

“BRS leaders are stabbing each other with knives and stating that Revanth Reddy is behind Harish Rao and Santosh Kumar. Some BRS leaders said Revanth Reddy is supporting Kavitha. It is my appeal to the leaders to stop mentioning my name in the BRS internal family crisis.”

“Telangana people are no longer interested in the BRS family. People have already rejected the party,” he said.

Kavitha, who was suspended and later resigned from the BRS, had accused Reddy of having “underhand dealings” with her cousins. The daughter of BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao, Kavitha had accused Harish Rao and Santosh Kumar of being “responsible” for the CBI probe against her father over alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram irrigation project.

“Corrupt politics will be punished, that is the natural law,” the CM said. “BRS leaders committed big wrongs and are now facing the consequences. I am the leader of the state and stand by my party leaders and support them only,” he said.
