Vijayawada: A class 8 student from Pedamaddali village in Krishna district died of a heart attack after being admitted to the hospital with high fever. Doctors confirmed cardiac arrest as the cause of death, leaving her family and villagers in deep shock.The deceased, identified as Gummadi Lavanya, had been suffering from high fever since Friday. Concerned about her deteriorating health, her parents admitted her to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite receiving medical care, her fever did not subside, prompting doctors to conduct further tests.While undergoing treatment, Lavanya’s condition suddenly worsened, and she passed away shortly after. Initially, her family suspected that prolonged fever might have been the cause of death. However, following medical examination, doctors confirmed that cardiac arrest was the primary reason behind her demise.The unexpected death of the young student has left her parents inconsolable.
