The Central Election Commission has changed the counting date of Mizoram. As per the earlier election schedule, counting of votes in Mizoram was scheduled to take place on December 3. But now the counting of votes will be held on December 4. The Election Commission has given this information by issuing a press release.

The Central Election Commission, considering these representations, has decided to change the date of counting of votes for the Mizoram Assembly General Election and conduct the counting of votes on December 4, 2023 (Monday). The Election Commission has also clarified that the counting of votes in the rest of Rajasthan, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will be held on the scheduled date.
