I could use cruise control 95% of the time, maintaining 70-80 kmph on the highway with light traffic. 60-70 kmph in 6th gear would theoretically give a higher result, but practically it is counterproductive. Because even Bolero Pik-Ups would overtake me at 60-70, and if I use the leftmost lane, then I will be stuck with the omnipresent e-rickshaws. The result is quite impressive for a 2-ton BOF with the aerodynamics of a brick. The highest average is 16 kmpl. Fuel used was a mixture of normal petrol from Nayara, Jio-BP, and Indian Oil coco. IOC is the best. The engine becomes buttery smooth. It reminds me of the initial days when I could not figure out if the engine is on or off without looking at the tachometer.
