My friend bought a Kawasaki Ninja 300: Service and ride experience

My friend bought a Kawasaki Ninja 300: Service and ride experience BHPian SILLYPUTTY recently shared this with other enthusiasts:Booking and service experience:I’ll share my friend’s experience, he just bought his 300 in pune, on road was 4.1L including the accessories prior to the gst cut, around august end. The salesperson was so frustrated with us as he first quote was 4.4L and from there we weared him down to 4.1L. At this point he even brought his sales register to prove he has never sold it so low. He just completed 1,000 kms yesterday and did the first servicing, which was Rs 7062. Roughly rs 3,500 was for labour. Rest was oil and filter change. Chain cleaning and lube for every 500 kms is pretty standard for most bikes.Brief ride experience:I have rode it around 100kms in the city during the break in period. The posture felt a bit aggressive to both of us and he plans raise the handle bar. As others have already stated, if you have your mind fixed on faired bikes then go for it. Interceptor is a different bike altogether, maybe rent both for a day and drive 100-120 kms to get a good idea of what you want. Also Ninja 300 may not have the tech, but it is pretty beginner friendly and fun to ride. The lime colour brings alot of unwanted attention as well (someone spit on his fuel tank when we parked it on JM road while we were scouting a bike for me). Be patient with bargaining with the kawasaki dealer and they will surely provide a lower quote. Get rid of unwanted charges.Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
