Meat sale banned in Kurnool on October 2


Kurnool Municipal Corporation (KMC) has declared the closure of all meat shops on October 2 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The corporation said that sacrifice of animals has been banned and sale of meat in any hotel or restaurant will not be allowed. Any violation of the ban will attract heavy fine, cancellation of trade licence and legal action.
