The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast in 17 Telangana districts for Tuesday (October 7).
According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated areas in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhongir, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city. Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning or night hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 32°C and 22°C respectively,” the bulletin said.
