Bookings for the new Skoda Octavia RS have officially commenced in India ahead of its launch on 17th October, 2025. Interested customers can pre-book the performance sedan by paying a token sum of Rs 2.5 lakh on Skoda’s official website. Deliveries are being promised to begin from 6th November. The new Octavia RS will be brought to India as a CBU (completely built unit) and initially only 100 units will be sold nationwide.

Power & Performance
Under the hood, the 2025 Skoda Octavia RS features a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine, generating power worth 265bhp and 370Nm of torque. Transmission duties are performed by a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. The performance sedan does 0 to 100kmph in 6.4 seconds and offers a maximum speed of 250kmph.
An electronically controlled limited-slip differential on the front axle and FWD (front-wheel drive) system further enhance its overall performance. The braking power is derived from the 340 X 30mm front and 310 X 22mm rear ventilated disc brakes. Unlike the globally sold model, the India-spec Octavia RS will not feature the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) adaptive suspension system.
Modern Design
Skoda’s new performance sedan looks sporty with features such as blacked-out “butterfly” style grille, Matrix LED headlamps with DRLs, revised front bumper and larger air intakes at the front end. The side profile is adored by newly-designed alloy wheels and black accents on mirrors and window surrounds. At the rear, the new Octavia RS features wraparound LED taillamps, black accent dual exhaust tailpipes, a rear lip spoiler and a diffuser-style rear bumper.
Sporty & Feature-Packed Cabin
The sporty theme continues inside the cabin as well. The new Skoda Octavia RS comes with the black upholstery with red contrast stitching, red accents on dashboard, seats and doors and sports front seats with better lateral support. It also comes with a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fully digital instrument cluster, a flat-bottom steering wheel with RS branding, ambient lighting with multiple colour options, wireless phone charger, multi-zone climate control, rear air vents, 10 airbags, ADAS suite and more.
