A 28-year-old accountant, Muppidi Praveen Kumar, died after a DCM vehicle hit his motorcycle near an Indian Oil fuel station at Madhapur late on Monday night. He was taken to hospital but succumbed to injuries. Police have registered a case

Hyderabad: An accountant died when a DCM vehicle hit his motorcycle at Madhapur on Monday night.

According to the police, the victim Muppidi Praveen Kumar (28), a resident of Ayyappa Society, Madhapur and a native of West Godavari district in AP, worked as an accountant at a private company in the city.


On Monday night, around 12.20 am, he was going home on his motorcycle.

“On the way, while taking a U-turn near the Indian Oil Fuel Station at Madhapur road, a DCM van hit Praveen’s bike. He fell on the road and suffered severe injuries.

On information, the police reached and shifted him to hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment,” said the Madhapur police. A case is registered and an investigation is going on.
