Hyderabad: As part of its Road Safety initiative, the GHMC identified a total of 18,087 potholes across the city, of which, 15,925 have been repaired as on Wednesday.
Additionally, 805 catchpits were restored, 388 covers replaced, and 18 central medians repaired, according to a press release.
The initiative is aimed at eliminating traffic bottlenecks and enhancing the commuter experience through rapid road restoration efforts.
GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan had issued instructions to achieve 100% pothole coverage, with special emphasis on speed, quality, and public convenience.
