Of these, 43 have now advanced to the interview stage. Bhatti lauded the aspirants’ performance, describing it as a reflection of Telangana’s growing talent and the govt’s focus on youth empowerment. “Since the inception of the scheme last year, 342 youth have received a total of ₹3.62 crore in financial support through Singareni Collieries Company Ltd,” he said.He explained that the Abhaya Hastham scheme provides ₹1 lakh each at both the Mains and interview stages, along with accommodation support in Delhi for candidates appearing for interviews. Launched in 2024, the scheme has already produced promising results — in its first year, 140 candidates qualified for the Mains, 20 for the interviews, and seven successfully secured services, now serving in various administrative capacities. Bhatti said the govt will continue to expand opportunities for deserving youth, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of their aspirations to serve the nation.
