The BMW F 450 GS, which made its global debut at EICMA 2025, is likely to be launched in India in January next year. There had been reports suggesting that the ADV could be launched at IBW 2025. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. The F 450 GS has been developed in collaboration with TVS and will be manufactured at the brand’s Hosur facility near Bangalore. The F 450 GS is BMW’s new entry-level ADV. It is powered by a 450cc twin-cylinder engine that produces 47.5 BHP @ 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm @ 6,750 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The suspension setup comprises a 43 mm KYB upside-down fork and a mono-shock at the rear, offering 180 mm of travel. Braking is handled by a 310 mm front disc paired with a Brembo caliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a ByBre caliper. The bike comes with a 6.5-inch TFT display with connectivity features, heated grips, ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, Engine Drag Torque Control and Dynamic Brake Control. The GS Trophy variant gets BMW’s Easy Ride Clutch, Shift Assistant Pro, an aluminium engine guard, and a tinted rally screen. Source:Autocar India
