Thalapathy Vijay’s last film, Jana Nayagan, is slated for a grand release on January 9, 2026, during the Pongal season. Directed by H. Vinoth, the action drama is inspired by Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari. The first single, Thalapathy Kacheri, received a positive response.
While fans were expecting the team to drop the teaser, the makers surprised them by announcing an update on the second single. The track is set to release on December 18, and a powerful poster featuring Vijay has been unveiled to mark the announcement.
Pooja Hegde plays the female lead, while Mamitha Baiju will be seen in a pivotal role. Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Narain, and others appear in supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. Venkat K. Narayana of KVN Productions is backing this biggie.
