Actor-cum-writer Adivi Sesh is all set to amuse audiences with his next flick, Dacoit. The film marks the directorial debut of popular cinematographer Shaniel Deo and is set for a grand release on March 19, 2026, as a Ugadi special.
Today, the makers unveiled the film’s teaser, which is highly impressive, boasting excellent production values, solid action sequences, racy cuts, and high-quality cinematography. The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the plot, but it promises a dark, emotionally charged narrative that blends romance with revenge.
Adivi Sesh plays a thief, as the title suggests, and he falls head over heels for Mrunal Thakur. However, his love life is disturbed by continuous challenges as he faces a threat from Anurag Kashyap, who plays a cop. The usage of Nagarjuna’s popular song ‘Kannepettaro Kannu Kottaro’ from Hello Brother in the background enhances the viewing experience.
Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios, Dacoit will have a simultaneous Hindi release on March 19.
