The Kia Sonet facelift has already been revealed under flashlights, with its pricing slated to be announced in January 2024.

In the two-wheeler space, Royal Enfield is gearing up to introduce one of its highly-anticipated bikes, the Shotgun 650, which recently made its debut in India. Now, let’s delve into some key details about these upcoming SUVs and bikes.

Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors is set to reveal the Punch.ev on December 21, 2023, offering an electric micro SUV with intriguing features. While official details are currently undisclosed, the vehicle is anticipated to showcase Tata’s Ziptron powertrain. Notably, the Punch.ev will distinguish itself as the first Tata electric vehicle with a front-mounted charging socket, embedded in the bumper. The design will incorporate distinctive electric vehicle elements, complemented by a familiar silhouette akin to its internal combustion engine counterpart. Spy images hint at a two-spoke steering wheel and an expansive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, akin to the updated Nexon. The Punch EV will be built on Tata’s Gen-2 EV architecture, a conversion from ICE to EV with substantial modifications.

Hyundai Creta Facelift

The mid-size SUV will boast Verna’s 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine, alongside the existing 1.5L petrol and diesel motors. Drawing inspiration from Hyundai’s global flagship SUV, the Palisade, the new Creta will showcase a redesigned front grille, split projector headlamps, and vertically and horizontally positioned LED DRLs. Inside, a major upgrade awaits with ADAS tech, a 360-degree camera, and an updated 10.25-inch infotainment system. However, this mid-life update is expected to accompany a price hike for the Creta.

Equipped with the Super Meteor’s 648cc parallel-twin engine, generating 47bhp and 52.3Nm, the Shotgun 650 rides on 18-inch/17-inch wheels, supported by an upside-down fork/twin shock absorber suspension.
