My new riding suit & boots: Observations after a 1200 km ride

My new riding suit & boots: Observations after a 1200 km ride BHPian MileCruncher recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Recently did a 1200 Km ride. 550 Kms at a stretch each way. So that makes the total usage close to 3k Kms. Key observations:It is light gear so you don’t feel the need to take it immediatelyEarly mornings in both rides, the temps were around 14/15 C. So just zipping up the vents ensured warmth and comfort. And post 10 am when the temps rose to 25-30 Deg, opening up the vents ensured enough breathability that I wasn’t sweating inside. In the jacket, the hand opening has enough space for the full gauntlet gloves to be tucked inside.Similarly the foot opening has enough width to put the pants over the boots. This helps in rain as water won’t go into the shoe if all vents are zipped up. And if you are wearing rain pants on top, even better.Gaerne Fastback Enduro: I completed 2 solid days of riding with them and in the process their break in has also happened. They are just lovely. Rigid yet flexible. Walking in them on concrete/ tiled floors is slightly uneasy as the metal toe scrapes and makes sound. The overall interior is roomier than Leatt 3.5 which is my other boot. I’m using a 41 in this compared to 42 in the Leatt 3.5 and the GFE 41 has as much toebox space to move fingers around as L3.5 42. I’m liking them!
