BHPian ambandla recently shared this with other enthusiasts: I went from Bengaluru to Vijayawada yesterday. Started at 6 am from Koppa road and reached BZA by 4:30 pm. Took the BCE -VKota – Palamaner route. A few points to note: Do not speed in VKota to Palamaner. This road passes through a lot of villages.There are at least half a dozen speed monitors between Palamaner and Vijayawada, more coming up.The problem with these speed monitors is that there are no clear speed indicators across the highway. Eg, one part of the highway said 120 limit, but the speed monitor flashed 105 as red.Tollgates in BCE are active now.Naidupeta to Nellore 2+2 lane is the slowest part of the journey, thanks to too many trucks hogging the right lane and local traffic not yielding to long-distance vehicles.Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
