The Hyderabad Police have officially concluded their investigation into the tragic stampede at Sandhya 70mm Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule. On Saturday, December 27, 2025, Commissioner of Police Shri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, confirmed that a detailed chargesheet was filed in court on December 24.
The probe identified significant lapses in planning, crowd control, and safety protocols. Authorities noted a lack of coordination between the theatre owners, event organizers, and private security teams, which ultimately led to the unfortunate incident.
