Sudha Kongara is getting ready to release her new directorial Parasakthi on January 10, 2026, as a Pongal special. Headlined by Sivakarthikeyan, Sreeleela, and Ravi Mohan, the film has been promoted well and has already created good buzz.
In a recent promotional interview, she expressed her desire to work with Superstar Rajinikanth. She said she is a huge fan of Rajini and clearly stated that she wants to make an out-and-out love story with him, along the lines of Muthal Mariyathai (1985). Whether she will get a chance to direct the style icon is something only time will tell.
Her new film also stars Atharvaa, Rana Daggubati, Basil Joseph, and others in prominent roles. The period action drama is bankrolled by Dawn Pictures, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The film will also have a simultaneous Telugu release.
