Dhurandhar continues to hold extremely well at the box office. The Ranveer Singh–led spy thriller collected around Rs 20 crore nett on its fourth Saturday, which is a very strong number considering the film is already close to completing a month in theatres.
The Saturday jump once again shows the film’s solid acceptance on the ground. Collections are obviously lower than the first few weekends, but for a film at this stage, such numbers are rare and indicate strong hold across centres.
With this, Dhurandhar has now crossed the Rs 701 crore nett mark. The film is comfortably placed among the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time and continues to add healthy numbers on a daily basis. With momentum still firmly on its side, the film is now in the race to challenge Pushpa 2 for the top position.
On the worldwide front, the Aditya Dhar directorial has already gone past the Rs 1,000 crore milestone. The film’s run remains steady both in domestic and overseas markets.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun. It is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, with music by Shashwat Sachdev. All eyes are now on how far Dhurandhar can go from here as it enters another important weekday phase at the box office.
